Slightly fuller lemon yellow. Attractive fruit on the nose, quite accessible. Nicely balances the oak. Just the right light note of gunflint reduction, plenty of oak but marries well with the fruit and the zesty acidity. Drink from 2026-2031. - JM

The 2021 Meursault Les Porusots 1er Cru has a fragrant, peony and persimmon-scented bouquet with crushed stone and citrus peel. The palate is medium-bodied, saline in the mouth and very harmonious with crisp acidity and a pleasant bitterness on the finish. Lovely. - VM
