“I love the domaine’s example of Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet and the 2014 is one of the finest young vintages of this cuvée that I have tasted here. The stunning nose is youthful and very pure, soaring from the glass in a fine constellation of pear, apple, a touch of pastry cream, stunning chalky soil tones, spring flowers, vanillin oak and a vibrant topnote of lemon zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and bottomless in the mid-palate, with impeccable focus and grip, bright, snappy acids and a very, very long, intense and seamless finish. Stunning juice. 2020-2060+.”
